Scope of work

JC Valves is a multinational company specialized in production and sales of industrial valves, with a strong expertise in design that makes it a leader in this sector. Working in fields like Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Pulp and Paper and Energy, the topic of quality control is crucial.

On one hand, this kind of companies have a reputational need of being reliable even when switching to digital assessment of production processes. On the other hand, being part of supply chains for clients all over the world, JC Valves has to rapidly trace and identify even the minor inconvenience in order to maintain a high product and service quality.

Results

At first our Global Register and Digital xLab teams worked together with JC Valves to provide the company with parameters and regulations to develop a quality control software. The creation of a customized system was managed independently, in order to meet the internal needs.

The second step was to verify the compliance of this software according to ISO 25001, testing specific KPIs that were decided upfront. The goal was in fact certifying that the design of the product was following the regulations and acceptability criterias, while we continue monitoring the testing activities of the final software.
